It can be used in solid concrete and some block, brick and stone base materials. The Double is not recommended for use in overhead applications without job site tests and the design professional’s approval. Overhead applications are better served typically by an FMRC or UL listed anchor. The anchor length published for the Double is measured end to end. To select the proper length bolt, determine the thickness of the fixture including any spacers or shims. Add this to the depth required to engage at least 2/3 of the threads in the cone.
