The new 880 SQUARE is like no other tool in the marketplace. It combines the proven design of the 880 series but incorporates a patented 45 and 90 degree squaring feature that uniquely allows both “flush” and “offset” use of the adjustable squaring system. Along with the squaring system, we have added a threaded aperture, which will adapt all CHECKPOINT lenses and accessory attachments to the nose of the 880 SQUARE. It also incorporates a stronger, brighter 650nm Class III laser systems. It comes in either a tradesman case, which accepts the addition of lenses and a Mag Base, or as a complete presentation kit, which includes the lenses and Bipod system as one full kit.

What makes the 880 SQUARE unique..

The 880 SQUARE can be used uniquely as both a “flush” and “offset” squaring system.
The 880 SQUARE can be rigged in several ways: a perfect 4-point lock up sliding square as well as an auto-45°position with adjustable angle finding capabilities.
The alloy rule system stows completely flush inside the 880 SQUARE and moves to lock up in 45° or 90° in seconds.
The front aperture is tapped and incorporates a new laser system, which now accepts Checkpoint’s specializes accessories including 90 °Lens, 2-Way Beam Splitter Lens, Line Lens, and the new Bore —Centering Tool Systems Your existing 3D lenses will also work with the 880 SQUARE.
New “V-groove” ends allow centering the laser on centerline marks and the “V- groove” on the bottom is for corners, piping, conduit, etc.
The 880 square is assembled with a brighter, more powerful 650nm Class III system to enhance the use and efficiency of the three standard lens accessories.
It comes with a unique BIPOD accessory, which allows hands free targeting use for infinite adjustments and applications.
The 880 SQUARE standard tradesman case will accommodate all lenses and our Stubby or Super- Vee Mag Bases.
The 880 SQUARE is capable of working on all planes. (Use all 3 vials with the level on its side for better accuracy). The laser is aligned from all planes 3 dimensionally.
45° angle machined into unit for layout referencing.
The thread on top of unit is a 1/4 the standard thread patter for all camera tripod and other Checkpoint accessories.
All markings on the 880 SQUARE are laser engraved and impervious to fade or destruction.
Vials are acrylic with 45 minute of angle sensitivity.
Average life of diode is 10,000 hours.
The 880 SQUARE operated on three standard “AAA” batteries.
Battery life is 10-20 continual hours.
The 880 SQUARE is aligned to a specification of ¼ inch at 100 feet. It is aligned from the base plane of reference.
Three small Allen screws (two on either side and one on the bottom) are used for alignment of the module and should not be tampered with as they have a unique lock up system.
The 880 SQUARE is a CNC fully machined part from aluminum alloy 6061 and lifetime guaranteed against body destruction.

CHECKPOINTÂ¨ Products purchased on or after August 1, 2003 come with a warranty package that includes:

	LIFETIME Limited Warranty. CHECKPOINT warrants any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship of the level body for LIFETIME use of the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover part failure due to normal wear, tool abuse or vial breakage. This warranty does not apply to accessories or damage caused where repairs have been made or attempted by others. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary in certain states or provinces. In addition to the warranty, CHECKPOINT Levels are covered by our:
	One-Year Free Service Contract. CHECKPOINT will maintain the tool and replace worn parts caused by normal use, for free, any time during the first year after purchase.
	Dealer locations are not authorized to exchange product across the counter for defective claims. All claims must be handled directly with CHECKPOINT.
	In the event of a warranty claim you must call CHECKPOINT Direct and get an RGA number assigned to your claim prior to sending the unit back to CHECKPOINT.
